What is Combed cotton?

Combed Cotton is a thread that goes through a process of paralleling the fibers. This eliminates the short and dead fibers, making it more uniform, soft and with more shine. Therefore, the fabrics produced with this yarn are superior, with long staple fibers, and last much longer. In addition to preventing the appearance of pilling, those tiny balls that stick to the fabric.

What is thread count?

Thread count is the ratio that will determine how tight the weave of the fabric will be. Here at Buddemeyer we have a wide variety so you can choose which one best suits your style and preferred touch.

Fabrics from 180 thread count has a weft called “percale”. Known for being very breathable, high absorption and fast drying.

Our 300 thread count is made in sateen weave, with more parallel threads that reflect the light and present a soft and elegant shine to the fabric. Its look and texture bring more refinement to the pieces.
