Sustainability

Buddemeyer honors its commitment to future generations, preventing pollution and preserving the environment, respecting people, mitigating the environmental impacts of industrial processes and adopting innovative and economically viable technologies. During its production process, does not let any harmful residue reach the environment. All liquid waste generated in the dyeing plant goes to the effluent treatment station – ETE, which returns water with a quality above the required parameters to the river. Daily, waste is properly separated and sent to the local Waste Center, where it is segregated and properly directed for reuse/recycling, co-processing and, in last cases, to an industrial landfill. The company seeks to achieve the goal of being zero landfill. The transport and final destination of waste is managed through the MTR (Residue Transport Manifest) system in accordance with environmental legislation.

Commitment to the planet makes Buddemeyer seek increasingly modern production processes, ensuring a high quality of life for the next generations. Concern for the environment has guaranteed the company the international Öko-tex Certification.
